Cornelia Yadron, lovingly known as "Tootie" to her husband and loved ones, age 89, of Chippewa Falls, finally at peace, passed away to God's loving arms, Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 at Chippewa Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation in Chippewa Falls.
She was born Nov. 8, 1920 at home to Theresa (Clarone) and John Groeneveld in Harvey, Illinois, where she also grew up.
Cornelia married the love of her life, Edward R. Yadron on Jan. 5, 1951 in Illinois. After their marriage, they resided in South Holland, Illinois, to raise their family until 1972, when they moved to Lake Holcombe. They resided in Florida from 1978-1989 until moving to the Eau Claire/Altoona area in 1989. She has been a resident of the Chippewa Manor since 2003. She often said her greatest joy in life was her family. Her selfless love was never questioned.
Afterservice
A funeral mass for Cornelia "Tootie" Yadron, 89, of Chippewa Falls, was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 8 at the Chapel of the Resurrection at the Chippewa Manor in Chippewa Falls. Fr. Justin Kizewski of Holy Ghost Catholic Church officiated and music was provided by organist, Judy Brist and vocalist, Doug Parker.
Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Black River Falls. Casket bearers were Tim Ramsy, Don Blomquist, Dan Bodza and Jim Ravelsoot.
Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls is serving the Yadron family.
