Yvonne L. Dachel, 63, of Chippewa Falls, town of Tilden, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System Eau Claire.
She was born September 17, 1952 in Chippewa Falls to Gertrude (Windsor) and Louis Hager. She graduated from Chi-Hi, class of 1970.
On January 9, 1982, Yvonne married Duane "Dewey" Dachel in Chippewa Falls. They resided in Chippewa Falls and Yvonne worked at area car dealerships for many years. In 1990, the couple purchased Canal Street Depot, and in 2001, they purchased the Tilden Country Villa, which they owned and operated for many years. Once the businesses were sold, Yvonne worked for Proud Excavating.
Yvonne loved spending time with her family. Her family will always cherish the memories of camping and the many family gatherings they shared. She was a dedicated wife, sister, mother and grandma and will be dearly missed. She was a faithful member of Zion United Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls.
She is survived by her husband, Duane "Dewey" Dachel of Tilden; daughters, Rhonda (Allen) Galindo, Bridget Nordby, Heidi Dachel and Holly (Patrick) Bergerson, all of Chippewa Falls; in-laws, Marilyn and Peter Dachel of Chippewa Falls; sisters, Loretta Swan, Irma Lotts, both of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa and Aliya Galindo, Briana Ellis, Jacob and Andrew Suggs, Grace and Noah Hornbuckle, Logan Allen and Arizona Bergerson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Catrina Rose Dachel; a sister, Viola Revoir; brothers, Darrell, Chester and Donnie Hager; and two grandsons, Allen Ray Galindo and Mason Suggs.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 20 at Zion United Methodist Church, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Listowel Ayensu-Mensah officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
