Calvin Harris

Calvin Benjamin Harris, age 8, of Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died July 26, 2019.

He was born January 10, 2011 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Portia (Harris) and Douglas German.

Calvin would have been in third grade this fall at Christ Lutheran School in Chippewa Falls where he had many friends and teachers that loved him dearly.  Calvin had a love for animals, especially goats!  He enjoyed playing the piano, and was an excellent student…he came in first place in the school spelling bee for 2nd grade last year.

He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his mother, Portia Harris German of West Covina, California; a sister, Zoe Sharonlee Harris; a brother, Julius Albert Harris II; maternal grandparents, Sharon L. and Julius A. Harris; two aunts, Monique Harris and Monique Simmons, all of California; paternal grandfather, Ritchie German Sr.; and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas German; and his paternal grandmother, Bridget German.

A private service will be held at Calvin’s school for his family, teachers and classmates.  Calvin will then be take to California by his mother and laid to rest there.
